About The Author and Her Books

Mariuccia Milla was born in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, granddaughter of Italian immigrants. After completing a Fine Arts degree and a two-year stint in New York City, she left for Italy to immerse herself in Milan's rich creative culture.

Her first novel, "Meet Me in Milano" was inspired by her experiences there.

After eighteen years, Mariuccia returned to the USA to design gardens among the beautiful Finger Lakes, the setting for "Blue Sky with Clouds."

Her love of Italian culinary philosophy led to "Stories of Food and Life" a book of food-inspired memories.

"Bestseller" is about the loss of content in favor of marketing under the menace of climate change.

Her latest, "The Garden Underground" is set on the Italian Riviera. This story examines the struggle with identity created by the expat experience.
